Description:
Rock Creek CPO is a non-profit site we donated to our community to provide information of interest to the Rock Creek neighborhood. The site is intended to be quick and easy to use, providing most of its information on the home page. We are adding a database to store building developer's plans for review by our local Community Planning Organization. Members had difficulty finding time to read the single paper copy provided for this group.

AbiTeq is hoping to provide an example in how a web database can be used to more easily provide and access information, in this case from our local government. Information providers need not understand programming, or the technical side of the web, to load pictures or text into the database. Users respond to pulldown menus to easily sort the large quantity of information to see only what they need. Since the responding web page is automatically rebuilt with each user access, the maintenance of updating web pages is minimized to the initial upload into the database of each record.
